Rescued - Uplifting Word - thoughts and scripture notes

Jesus cares. Others may or may not. This is nothing new.
Even in Old Testament scriptures, you’ll find the same thing,
God’s sheep have been scattered and mistreated, as well as,
received or rejected solely on the basis of the quality and
value of their wool. What makes this so hurtful and damaging,
is that it wasn't always done by thieves and robbers, but also
by the very ones assigned to care for them.

By design, God did not create sheep to be isolated and
detached from the fold. By nature they are gently and humble
having ears fine tuned to the voice of it's shepherd. This
makes the shepherd’s job much easier, but also more liable in
the eyes of God.

So, if none care about the welfare of these sheep, God
certainly will. He will intervene to protect them. He will seek for
and find them. He will rescue them out of perilous places and
situations. He will care and bind up their wounds. He will
nourish them back to health. He will give them pastors after
His heart.
