The singing starts well before sunrise. On this morning, one
particular early riser chirped on one note and would not let it
go. It was loud and continuous. It quickly became annoying,
so much so, that I could no longer rest in peace.
I got up and began to pray. As I continued to hear that high
pitched disturbing tone, this was the thought that came to my
mind: ...
- Whatever he wanted from God, he was making his voice
to be heard.
- God could distinguish the sound of his voice over all the
others. He was not just another bird among many.
I was also reminded of this scripture ...
- Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her,
lest by her continual coming she weary me ... And shall
not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night
unto him, though he bear long with them?
God used one of His smallest creatures to convey His
message, and confirmed it by His Word, that my prayers are
heard and I have my request too.
Scripture References:
14. And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
