Can two walk together unless they agree? If they do -it won’t
be for very long, and/or, the walk will be greatly hindered. I've
seen it and experienced it, and it's a great disappointment.
Whether its social issues or any type of team or group effort,
without fail, as soon as someone in the group falls into
disbelief or doubt about the vision or goal intended - they
become a hindrance to themselves and to others walking with
them or joined to them.
Although (Amos 3:3) is quite clear, on the flip slide, the same
is also true regarding fellow believers - those who you know
were filled with the Holy Spirit, but choose now - for whatever
the reason not to believe God any further or to go another way.
Take the disagreement between Paul and Barnabas over Mark
(Acts 15:35-41). The disagreement was so strong between
them - even though they were in full agreement in terms of the
Gospel - when it came to the issue of whether Mark would go
with them - they parted ways and Silas was chosen instead to
continue working with Paul.
Walking in the presence of the Lord is a true blessing with
privileges and benefits that can’t be compared to anything
else. So when it comes to associations and partnerships of
any kind, carefully consider all things - consult His Word -
and trust it.
